    Hi BHW,

I am thankful for this site and for everyone who has shared their successes, failures, insight, and wisdom. Thanks to the site creator and moderators who keep this site going too.

Right now I am sitting here with 16 tabs open in one window and 5 open in another and I have been glued to my screen for hours. My stomach is grumbling and I should probably go make myself dinner but there is just so much useful information to absorb here.

I have been involved in the online world for a few years now, primarily in sales for a few marketing companies, web developers and such.

I have tried my hand in various online ventures with varied amounts of success.

In my first "successful" online venture, I earned a couple hundred dollars over a year SEOing a one-page site for a niche keyword and directing traffic to a clickbank ebook. I didn't have the time to grow the site out and it eventually died out. I just let the domain drop when it came up to renew.

I've run a few moderately successful/break even ppc campaigns too but never scaled it out.

I've lost a few adwords accounts, had my ip blacklisted on CL making it impossible to post ads, and even had my ip blacklisted on spamhaus. I was in the negative on my FB ads account for over a year and finally brought that current.

Even though I "know all about internet marketing" I still consider myself a noob because I have yet to create a consistent successful campaign that will free me from the trading-time-for-money trap.

I think another thing that keeps me in the noob role is jumping from strategy to strategy looking for that one winner rather than focusing on one method until it is successful. I believe this is a problem that plagues many would be internet entrepreneurs.

I was recently let go from a marketing company after developing their sales strategy and doubling their revenue within 3 months because I was making "too much money". So I currently have a $h!tty sales job to cover the bills right now but it eats up my entire day just to pay rent, the bills, and eat.

I have a very clear idea of how I would like my future to look and will definitely be involved in multiple business ventures both online and offline but at this moment I really need to focus on one thing which is generating consistent revenue and growth with one idea.

I just incorporated a new business and launching as a full service internet marketing agency and my account entry strategy is going to be centered on SEO. There is still a tremendous demand for SEO for businesses and the customer acquisition strategies I developed for my previous employers are still working right now. So my goal is build up my marketing agency to a point where I can free up time to focus on other ventures like authority sites, eCommerce sites, mobile apps, and other other offline business ventures.

I don't plan on posting any $0 to $XXX,XXX per mo journals but I have learned a lot from this site and will contribute in any way I can.

If I can help you with anything in the realm of direct marketing or direct sales feel free to pm me. Anything related to sales, telemarketing, creating scripts, direct mail, copywriting, lead lists, in either b2b or b2c.

I'll try to post some threads if there is a demand for any topics I know about.

    Thanks for reading.

    Much success to you.

    Time to eat.

    Atlas
