Do you share BHW with Others or do you keep BHW to yourself?

I do not believe this !!!
All of you are Self-Destructive or what ?
NO ONE is aware that Google, Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft (Bing), Go Daddy, Big Rock, etc, etc keep a watch on this as well as other forums (websites) like this ?
People from Google, Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft (Bing), Go Daddy, Big Rock, etc, etc are members here checking out what's happening.
So, if we openly SHARE "methods", WE ARE DIGGING OUR OWN GRAVES !!!! The "loopholes" will be plugged fast, if we reveal them openly in these kind of forums.
My advice to people : DO NOT SHARE EVERY "method" OPENLY, use PM, etc, so that it is kept between a few trusted people.
Do things, but do them sensibly.
You are all welcome to abuse me now and thrash me up. It's OK.
You want to dig your own graves, by OPENLY sharing "methods", it's OK, dig it and fall into it.

I just read the title of your similar thread and here's my feeback based on your title alone. It's impossible to be openly BH within a corporate setting because no one will openly sanction black hat tactics no matter how good the BH is. Plus too much accountability involved. I've had colleagues and partners lose $10,000+ per month bonded SEO contracts in progress from major brands because in house SEO execs with laymen level SEO knowledge viewed inconsequential disclosed work product as Black Hat.

Too many major brands like BMW , Forbes, Newsday etc have been punished for BH activity and all the stuff shirts have this awareness, but like you indicated before most of those are hypocrites anyway.

Is there a specific post that you are concerned about here? I don't recall reading ANY post here which violates the common sense rules or open sharing methods. But I could have missed something.
 
I've never told anyone IRL about my membership here, just like I keep the details of my online marketing pursuits separate from my real-world job and relationships. People who ask about what I do as a hobby get the same spiel: "I manipulate what you Google by building websites and social media profiles, building links to and from, and publishing articles on high-profile websites."

This is one of the reasons why I keep a full-time job. This is also one of the reasons why you will never see me at any of these circlejerk conferences (no offense).

I'm a monster with two heads.

Exactly, you are right : People should know the difference between asking "What you do" and "How do you do what you do".
Many people here at BHW openly ask for "methods" (blackhat "methods").
No one should and no one must openly share such "methods". It's like digging our own graves and a grave for the person asking, as well.

Or it is sharing a piece of the pie that is going to die anyway and letting your fellow members in on something that you found that makes you money.

I never regret the shares I offer where one can bank as I know they will either go away eventually anyway or I know I'll have to make adjustments at some point anyway.

That is the complete opposite of my ideals. If you can't share a method and continue to profit from it, you aren't doing things properly.
 
...WELL i keep it to myself and don't open in Public. Don't know why I'm doing that but just occur to me like that !

It is not about sharing, it is about where, with whom and HOW you share it.
Because, remember, there are people from Google, Facebook, Microsoft (Bing), Instagram, etc. etc who are members here and keeping a watch AND many of us are into blackhat. So, precaution is better than cure. We cannot totally know who is who, but we can take some calculated precautions, like not sharing certain "methods" openly (may be through PMs), etc, etc.
So, think out of the box, dear, it will help you in """"" doing things properly """".
DO NOT NARROW down your understanding of concepts.
Like SHARING : there is not just 1 or 2 ways to share : lots of ways, but HOW we share it and with whom, MAY mean making progress OR digging our graves ourselves.
I bet you do not have the cells "up there" to understand all this. But, I am glad, we got atleast a few people here, who would understand what I mean. May be not agree with me, I never expect that, but merely understand what I mean.

You have been around for two years, and you haven't learned the unspoken rules? People only share bits and pieces for the most part. Unless the method is saturated, in which the poster gives the age ol', "put your own twist on it."
There are also sections of the forums that are by rank. As a JR VIP, I'm able to go into the lowest level of "nocrawl," but to go above that, is invite only. That's where the real stuff is hidden away, and the smaller community can openly share and brainstorm their ideas.

You, sir, need to put down the bong, and relax a little.

But I agree 100%.

We need to update that phrase to something more "adultish" for the forum.

How about, "If you care about your fellow man you are semi-obligated to share and certainly obligated to help in areas where you have expertise."

Other suggestions welcome.
 
Haters gonna hate. Reason im here doing my own thing is to not have to give a shit what PC people think anyway. I def dont hide the fact that i read about blackhat SEO methods and theory, but if a client wants white hat seo then white hat seo it is.

I could go on and on but that would defeat the purpose of going with brevity.

Between the full-time job and the side IM stuff it's $XXX,XXX nowadays, but I'm easily cracking 70 hours a week, so average hourly it's nothing incredible.

My full time job is an analyst, mostly doing financial and marketing reporting in the transportation industry.
