I'm gonna loose about 30 kg of fat - So at the moment my diet is a lot of chicken and rice, and a lot of workouts.

I've started to walk 3 km each way to work.

short of flying everyone out once a month to a secret location there will have to be a degree of honour attached to this

I can't be bothered, seriously its just $100 if you are taking that amount of money seriously maybe it was just a bad idea.

$100 will not get you a good night out nowadays. It's nothing.

Well we need to change the motivator then. Who has an aff link for buying a t-rex ?

I've been enjoying 20oz steaks lately - keep at it boys...

But to be fair all I drink now is water also. That probably helps.

Most my life I've said being fit is 70% diet and 30% exercise.

But the older I get the more I think it's the opposite.

So true.

When I was younger I used to eat like a horse, all the wrong types of foods too, burgers, sweets, fizzy pop, (not diet, it tasted like shit 30 years ago) chips etc but I was as thin as fuck.

No matter how much I ate I couldn't gain weight, I was even taken to the doctors because I was so skinny!

The actual reason? Maybe because I rode my bike everywhere, went swimming 5 times a week, went to the local park every day after school to kick a ball around for a couple of hours, trained at a martial arts class 3-4 evenings per week.

These days I rarely get off my fat ass, at work I'm stuck in an office or work from home, I drive there even though it's only a couple of miles away, I drive to the shops which are 10 minutes walk from my house, my bike hasn't seen daylight for about 3 years, the closest I get to swimming is a soak in the bath, football is too much effort for me these days and martial arts...... forget it!!

Did I mention I am very slightly overweight these days and I even eat less & healthier foods now.

Lots of good advice here, I'm actually surprised by how on-point some of the suggestions are.

I'll just add that if you're going to hit the gym, focus on large muscle groups. Do deadlifts, squats, and bench. You will build muscle, which will help you to burn fat, even while you sleep.

I wouldn't focus on how much you weigh, if you go this route, because 220 of mostly muscle will look a whole lot different than 220 of fat.

If you're not up to that right now, just a 30 min walk in the morning can do wonders. Or, if you don't like being outside, invest in a treadmill or standing desk. :-)

Starting somewhat late, I haven't done much the past few years. Going to be using standing up desk only, and riding my bike 2x a day 5 miles each, and increase it by 2.5 miles each week.

Why does a service not exist where you just pay $5000 or whatever and they put you into a coma and only feed you the absolute necessary nutrients via a drip until you reach your target weight.

You just go to sleep, wake up 3 weeks later in a new body.

Why are we not doing this?

BB, do you ever post less than 1000 words?

I bet your sales pages are literally miles long... wow.

Hahahahahaha :D

Iv went from 85kg to 65kg in under 3 months , i did it with mostly cardio and eating vegan.
But towards the end when i was about 70kg i went on a 4 day water fast and dropped 5kg, but i looked extremely skinny . it took me awhile to get back up to 70kg+ but im getting there with building muscle now :D
Goodluck OP definitely try the water fast its extreme but youl notice huge results in days

Good luck guys. I grabbed one of those Xiaomi Mi bands for $20 and its a great cheap way of nudging you to 10k steps per day....every little helps etc...

I'm committing to swimming 30-50 laps every single weekday. Sunday is rest day, while Saturday is just some random 30min stationary bike + strolling in the mall or something.

I'll post an update here next week if I lost some weight.

Only eat protein, no fat or carbs. Weight drop will be insane

Eating protein only will make you miserable. because no fat = no testosteron. I recommend eating fish with vegetables. Fish = fat + proteins, vegetables will supply you with a small amount of carbohydrates. This is a healty diet. with crash diets you will cheat more rapidly.

I've hit the gym, I'm rather skinny but I'm just trying to build some muscle and get more toned.

I've been eating healthy for the past few years, I think it's like an american thing like drinking pop daily and having deep friend stuff. Daily I drink about 2-3L of water, and I rarely have fizzy drinks/juice (I get fresh juice no sugar, sweetners etc sometimes) maybe like once a month? I have salad everyday, and yogurt/cereal in the morning. For snacks I just eat fruit/nuts - sometimes biscuits/crackers + cheese if we have them.

But I think a reason I'm so skinny is because I don't eat that much, these couples of years I've been eating better, but before I w as such a fussy eater.

I'm almost 170cm and I weigh 52kg, I'm not going to gym to loose weight but to get more tones, more strong , more fit etc.

also good luck!! You can achieve anything you put your mind to

3x the week gym, 2x jogging/walking depends on your health - just do some walking activity for 30-40mins straight, stop drinking sweet shit and go with soda, if you getting lust for some sweet stuff -> natural fruites and quit chips and all the shitty snacks. It's not like you have to change your whole life, just do the basics :D GL gals
