BHW chatrooom/workshop?

Ok my plan is to get a chat room for BHW. If we get one though, I wonder if it will end up being abused. I vision it being more of an accessible workshop type chatroom for example. But I guess this post is to see how others feel on the situation, so feel free to post your opinions.

irc is fine and dandy, but a chatroom with workshop/business associate scouting schedules etc would not be a good addition to the BHW facilities?

For collaborating it probably would, this thread should be in the Feedback and Suggestions forum

I would like to see something like this myself, i.r.c. is great, but for people who want to talk business, I think a separate chat would really be beneficial so that we can bounce ideas off each other, and learn from one another without interrupting the general chat that goes on in the i.r.c. channel.

The last time we had something like that, people found and exploit in it and used it to hack into our server... So, needless to say, we probably won't be hosting anything like that again anytime soon. If we did, it would definitely have to be on a separate server.
