BHW Bug on Safari iPhone

There is an ongoing bug on Safari that I thought to share with you.

Here is a video showing what happens:


What happens is:

1) I type in google BlackHatWorld + random search query
2) As you can see from the video, opening the first result shows no issues
3) The moment I go back to Google and open the second result (or any other result), the page loads to a certain point and then completely freezes
4) As a result of 3), I can't tap anywhere on the page and even when I go back, my whole Safari browser freezes, so I have to fully close it and re-open it again.

I did exactly what you did and I experienced the same problem you showed. I tried it with another search query and the same thing happens. Not sure what's causing it. But we’ll be looking into it asap.

Yup, it's very weird. Never experienced anything like that on another website. What's strange is that the whole browser freezes and not only the page.

Only appears to happen on iPhones/safari ig. Tried on Mozilla and Chrome on my device and didn't face anything like that.

We have done some investigation into this and can confirm it only happens on Safari on the iphone. Interestingly when we hook the iphone up to a mac to look into the developer tools it doesn't happen. We have also noticed that pulling the screen down and being a little bit patient if you catch it right it unfreezes.
Looking around on the web there are also reported issues of Safari freezing and we have indeed experienced it on a different website during our testing.

Ultimately not sure we can fix a bug in Safari itself, we are good but not that good Recommend using a different browser on your iphone if it is causing you major issues.
