Ouch. Man that sucks real bad. I hope this Bezo guy pays for all of this shit.

Why on earth would you scam someone so friendly and simply awesome as BTB? What a sore loser. I hope he lives happily ever after with his property, bought with someone else's money.

hmmmm, it was awhile back, but if i recall correctly bezo helped me out with some parsers and graphics; i think i remember him doing it for free and not accepting any money. anyway, really sorry to hear about that. i think tough-times are burdening to ethics.
 
Some generic thoughts...

Never put up more than you can lose... I did not. I'll never miss the money that I laid out... it won't affect my life at all.

Don't do deals unless the guy is respected. Bezo WAS respected but it appears he went to th darkside.

If you have an issue and it is related to BHW be sure to consult a MOD before flying off the handle... we all can make mistakes on that end and a third party can help see things in perspective.

Always remember it is only money... money is not family/honor/respect/ethics... you cannot replace them and you can always replace money.

Trust your friends and family, nurture and love them, give to them and in turn you will get the same... maybe not in the same proportion but that is a non issue.

Those that choose the dark side deserve to live in darkness.

Money... ehh, I have plenty... those that I love and that love me there is no end to filing up that basket.

Bezo, sorry that you chose to not want to try to fill your basket.

Too True well said! Bummer it turned out this way as Im always a "glass half full" type of guy. Anyway I guess you have a Vaca property you can get a lein on? ;)

this is why BTB is one of the most respected memeber's. See alot of us ( me included) sometimes forget that chasing money is good and all but it should never be the most important factor in anybody's life. Real joy isn't about the amount of items you can obtain but its about creating and developing strong relationships and friendships that transcends material things. BTB you have always been and individual of great ethics, principals, honor, and respect. I believe that which you lost will be return to you 10x fold.

Money is just money and it will not last and to Bezo, I feel bad for you that you replace this wonderful

Hi BigBuddy, I dono why you took this decision. I really hate to see that you're calling me as a scammer and perm banned me. I've no intention to scam anyone and live my life with others hard earned money, its just my situation which causes delay in securing required funds but that doesn't mean i'm a scammer - Am I? After all you visited me on my home and seen me in real. Did i looked like a scammer or something to your eyes BigBuddy? Also you wrote that i lied about my accident. Its true that i've polio and had an surgery when i was young. But the accident is true. I dono what you talked with my dad anyway. I thought you were a good and generous guy and still believe so and i think you wrote like that because this thread took too long and yet not closed. Anyway BigBuddy, i'm now taking necessary steps to close the deal of my property even if it results in a loss. Also i'd like to remind you that i already told you to file a complaint against me if i forget to complete the requirement. Anyways, things gone out of control and its my turn to settle the funds and i'll try to do it ASAP. Please keep one thing in mind - I've no intention to cheat anyone and getaway with their hard earned money. The funds will be settled to Greg Soon! It really made me smile when seeing at our members backing me up that i was a good guy Even after this many months. Thank you BigBuddy! See you soon.

So many questions...

Did the guy ever get caught?
Was BigBuddy in on the scam?
None of my business, but Im curious, so excuse me if its unpolite, but around how much did he run away with? Are we talking 500 dollar or 50.000 dollar?

Thieves like this should be attacked on sight. Unfortunately they are not easy to identify in the neighberhood when they scam online
 
Big Buddy actually went out of his way to help and had nothing yo do with this scammer.
 
Presuming you did not get your money back after all this time. Perhaps rekindling this thread will bump it above the other BHW post in Google when you search for his name, as that one seems to cast him in a better light then he deserves.

Otherwise, I have no idea why you reopened this thread.

I respect the way that scammers is not place here and cheaters.
I know there are rules on BHW and all must respect them,whatever is he regular,blue star,red star....
I encourage Demian to start penalizing in huge.
BHW dignity is on stake.
In this case is not important is 10,100 or $10k that are taken from BTB.
I have more money than that and I invest it in projects but not only project but people behind projects.People matters.
Now with this case I will wonder to get in or out.
This must trigger alarm to staff.
BHW have "name" and no one ,I mean no one can dare to play with it.
This situation it is about respect to the older members and the way how the BHW works.
So let start anyone to respect that.
