BEWARE - Proxy Detector Script - used by several sites

We are working on implementing the server-sided Java applets. I think the first Java based proxy detection services will be ready very soon for live test. After that, ActionScript will be next stage to be added to the proxy detection web interface.

darkAsPitch is correct about disabling Flash. Yes, ActionScript is part of Flash programming - that will detect PC soul (anything it can do based on how clever the script is written).

Anyway, as mentioned earlier, the simple goal for offering the free proxy detection web tester:
- With the proxy detection web interface tool available for everyone, it will help us to test/configure our PC to make sure that the browser settings are correctly configured before surfing the sites anonymously.
- In the near future: Copy-paste-test the proxy IP addresses:ports to make sure that these proxy IP addresses are REALLY CLEAN, and can detect SOCKS/HTTP types quickly. I have tested many proxy IP addresses using primitive methods - they are really useless for my BH tools.

Yes...please keep up with your concerns/thoughts - as it's really very helpful for us.

Googling for WIMIA yields:

I imagine the test fails for shared proxies and routed connections.
 
Well... nobody trecommend good proxy. There are a few members say they use private proxy. Can you please post this proxies here?

I have developed the test page with Java applet running, which can read network interface using Firefox, Chrome and IE browsers. (Note: The interface is very ugly), even with proxy IP address used (I use seo-proxies and CloakFish for testing).

As for Actionscript, it's very challenging due to the client and server side programming issues that we need to continue experimenting, as we believe it can be done.

I will move all proxy detection test tools to my powerful dedicated lighttpd server as I am having the feelings that these free tools will be very popular, as Apache server is only used for development/low traffic sites.

This week, I need to get my large math site (not this proxy detection script) to go public after more than 1 year of development by tonight, as I need to rake in more money to finance the interesting projects, such as this proxy detection script project.

After some experimenting with Java applet, I discovered that Java can read the network interface with unexpected results as shown here:

IP Address: 192.168.1.90
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Physical Address: 00-23-54-82-AB-81

The network interface details as shown above is read off from PC, based on the repeated test results from 3 computers connected to gateway router. You will notice that the PC is using NAT (See h--p://en_wikipedia_org/wiki/NAT for NAT Network Address Translation details).

To improve the proxy detection script, It means I need to add the traceroute routine to read the trace IPs all the way from PC to server, then post back the results to client side, along with other proxy detection parameters.

ActionScript is added to the AnalyzeMy Net web tool today (Feb 6th).



To demonstrate the actual IP address readout, I changed the browser network settings to use proxy IP address. Based on AnalyzeMyNet readings, only Java is displaying the actual network IP address!

Check it out - you'll see it for yourself - and don't be afraid to accidentally select the area under the tabs area.

Later next week, I will need to refine ActionScript coding to examine the network interface, similar to Java. Please keep in mind ActionScript is used in Flash videos (YouTube) - which means that they can track of users using the YouTube videos. That is what I'm finding out.

Latest Status:

- Improved interface, including "accident" ad-click friendly tabs.
- Tweaked Java servlet settings to allow for reading the network interface directly.
- Cleaner details in ActionScript output.

Few more items to improve:
- Expand ActionScript details to read the network interface details
- Add icon flags
- Few other goodies to make this site to be useful (new proxy/Internet features to be added under new tabs (Location, Browser, Header, Java, ActionScript)
- Paste the proxy list with filter option, along with the restriction for the number of requests - which will be tied to the recent ad activity. In other words, the additional requests will be granted for every new ad activity. (I will need to figure out on how to make it legal without getting myself in hot water with GSpot.)

I am very busy in the last 2 weeks since my math site is released. Unfortunately, thanks to XRumer blasters who abused the math forum while this site was under development for more than a year (which I did not pay attention until recently), I plan to delete the forum - but I want everyone to see the forum section for themselves:

If your using an anonymous proxy that is not transparent, you shouldnt have any problem hiding yourself. The question is the type of proxy.

- This site is getting very popular (400 unique visitors/day and growing), which is very nice. It's too bad that the visitors are too careful on not clicking on my gspot ads or using Adblock+. :(

Anyway, here's the updated development status:
- Expand ActionScript details to read the network interface details, as the hardware details (video, sounds, etc.) are read and displayed on the ActionScript tab screen.
- Add icon flags (pretty appearance is important!)

Difficult features to be added:
- Paste the proxy list with filters option (Countries, Elite, Anonymous, Transparency, etc.), along with the restriction for the number of requests in the text box, then press "Filter" button to analyze the proxies in background. The output will be similar to

, except that the final output will be in the "output" text box for easy copy/paste into your own applications, such as your web browser, ScrapeBox, XRumer, etc.
- Few new surprises, based on feedback from others.

I use private socks, and this site see my real IP... That's not good, so what we must use to not ne detected? :(
 
Your script doesn't see my real IP http://hiderefer.org/?http://analyzemy.net/ ! It's not safe to test your proxy/socks with this website/script.

I'm sure about that because your's script doesn't see it, and hxxp://www.whoer.net/ext see my real IP. Seems you must work harder to get it finished.

you must disable all javascript and flash and then probably the site will not see your real IP. the problem is not the proxies but things like flash that pass along your real IP when executed.

Give it a try, disable javascript and the flash and java plugins in your browser and then check if the site still see's your real IP
 
Every time a proxy is tested on that site it is entered into their database which increases the likelyhood that it will be detected positive as "suspected proxy".
This means by TESTING your proxies on such a site you actually are the reason for your proxies being detected as proxies.

Test your proxies using own scripts.

Previous post is *DELETED* - due to misunderstanding.

My Analyze My net site DOES NOT record IP addresses. I will add the statement there to make sure that no IP addresses are recorded (even access_log is disabled, too). I am not interested in being a big brother, other than the number of visitors and type of browsers. (which I do care).

The site is developed because of my private client who requested for it.

Fortunately, many visitors like this site - because of simplicity and quick to use for configuring the browser to make sure that the proxy services are working correctly. I tested my site with cloakfish services, using 127.0.0.1:3000 (autoIP), which shows the proxy IP address, not real IP address. If you look under ActionScript/Java tabs on my site, it will show the real IP address (which is bad, unless you disable Java/Flash).

As I said earlier, my site is an ongoing development. The main features I added to my site are what we need just for now. And, yes, we are working on incorporating the additional features similar to whoer's site, plus few more features.

If you don't like my site, go ahead and use someone's site such as www*whoer*netext. Nobody stops you from using my site or someone's site.
 
I didn't want to diss you portalweb, sorry if my tone was not friendly.

I just wanted to make people aware that those sites that make our lifes harder by offering commercial proxy-test databases to companies like CL & co. only have their data because "we" use their sites to test proxies.

It's an evil loop, we'd like to know if a proxy is already detected as proxy and by checking for this we mark the proxy as "bad" in their databases.
Now even if the proxy was clean before, it's stained after testing it.
