It has happened with me too.

You can use moneybookers like others said, but then it's not so popular like paypal.

I've used (and still using) paypal since 2 years ago without any serious problem but may be in the future will, so in your opinion what are the other (good and reliable) alternatives?

i never had any problems yet on paypal and i hope it stays that way. thats the problem with buying online, there's a lot of risks involved.

so i recently purchase some software from this website. The software basically was a sham and was filed completely full of bugs and didn't work. So i basically went to paypal and filed a dispute. I emailed the owner no response, Waited couple days and still no response, So i escalated the claim. Apparently now paypal is basically telling me they only vote in favor of merchandise being shipped not on its quality. So its pretty much the most retarded thing ever. If you paid for a 18k rolex and the seller ships it and it arrives and you open the box and its a mickey mouse watch your screwed. Basically paypal is now saying they don't care about the quality of the merchandise being sent. My advice Boycott Paypal folks. Dont waste your time

I also lost 200$ with same quality problem. I payed with CC and now sorting out with cC company.

lol this should not be on the shit list. These rules are to protect abuse of paypals sellers. One time some guy on DP filed a dispute to me (I was late on delivering software because my computers hard drive failed and I told him that and it was only $15) so I'm glad that paypal does this. You should research what you buy before you buy it.

I've had these kind of BS problems on the giving and receiving ends. If you are a buyer, you have to tell them what they want to hear to get a refund things like "the box arrived and was empty" or "the box never arrived" usually work for refunds. As a seller scamming buyers, you can see how this is useful when the buyer is unaware of "the methods of the trade" so to speak
