Hey guys i had an idea, and i wanted to share it with you and ask you what you think about.

So if i have a nice niche site with lets say 10 articles on it written in english good keyword density and unique content, why not translate the articles in more languages like if your articles are in english , and you decide to translate your articles into italian and german.

wouldnt the amount of your content increase, and would you make google notice more content on your site ?

I think it is a good and easy possibility to increase your ranking !

What do you guys think about this idea ?

greetings

its already been posted here :) how to make an authority website thread check the search option big fella

i wont check the whole forum before posting something...sprry haha, but thank you for telling me

there was a thread in the white hat section of this forum and supposedly this should work...this is on my list of things to do...

try it out and let us know how it goes...

I have experimented it before and dude this works like a charm. At first, I only used the google translate tool and we all know that its not 100% accurate but still I got good results. Now I hire the services of professional translators :)

So you guys Know a Plugin that Allows changing Languages by One mouseclick ? That would Be very nice

This Looks quite easy to handle , thank you

yeah qtranslate is awsome.give it a shot it makes the links and everything for you

i agree with you but its not an easy task, and often it doesnt works, atleast for me

Looks very interesting, but doing this manually would probably kill me, well everyone says that doing it with google translator will not work. Do you know about any other free tool that might help with this?

The translators are shite. Have you ever translated Asain content for example? None of it makes any sense. Get it translated professionally.

Doing this with Gtranslator alone won't work. As I said before on the thread posted above, my main "pet" site is written in 4 languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.

My process goes like this:

1 - Write content in English or Portuguese (my native language)
2 - Translate content to other languages using software (Gtranslator, systran, other software of choice)
3 - Correct translated content because software translations are far from perfect
4 - Publish content, always connecting it to each other (I use WPML) but it can be done by hand (search for rel="alternate" or go to http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.pt/2011/12/new-markup-for-multilingual-content.html )

In order for this to work, you either:

a) speak all 4 languages (which I do) or
b) get some translators to do the work for you

Slapping some poorly translated content into your site isn't going to cut it. Remember: quality! It doesn't matter what language the content is in. It should always be quality content.

That's good try to post article different -different country ,yes it's real increase traffic that's easy and effective way.
