As per my knowledge, you can't do that. For my blog, I focus on one keyword using the plugin, and check others manually. It has got many more features to offer. Read their documentation.

You're correct on this.One reason might be the fact that Wordpress loads all the plugins when you view a page on front-end. So, there will be more server resource usage if you have a huge list of plugins.

I like sitemap, creates a quick page list for your sitemap page.

I generally use NextGen Gallery for images.

As for W3 Total Cache, yes, I believe that security hole was patched.
 
I've had issues with caching programmes and the CDNs in the past, the only one that didn't seem to cause errors for me was WP Super Cache. Even W3 Total Cache caused a few problems when linked up to CDNs.

Plugins that haven't been mentioned that I'd recommend:

WP Insert for inserting adsense etc in posts.
Thank Me Later for keeping in touch with people after they comment and encouraging return visits.
 
W3 Total cache seems to not work with Better WP Security which sucks.
 
Been using SEO by Yoast a couple of months ago and it has an error for almost 1 month, is SEO by YOAST ok now?

There's been two updates in recent weeks, I've not noticed any problems however I haven't set it up in that period.
 
WP Quick Cache > W3 Total Cache
Platinum SEO plugin > Yoast
Embed Plus is awesome.

For SEO:

1. Wordpress SEO by Yoast - great for front-end
2. SEO Plugin by Squirrly - great for on-page SEO

Both are great plugins.
 
IN my opinion All In One SEO Pro Is The Best plugin for SEO in wp
 
The only pluggins I ever use are contact form 7 and WP SEO by Yoast.
