Best way to start an affiliate program for web-developmnet company.

I am running a web design and development company and I am would like to start an affiliate program for it. I can either run something in-house, but that may be very slow to start or go with a network. If I were to go with a network, I would want something small and inexpensive.. free even.


Either way I need to get the word out to potential affiliates. What is the best way to go about this?

This is short, because I am not sure where to get started. Hopefully I can get some help and have some more questions. Oh and I tried adwords and it's to expensive for me at this point.

If you are that new to it that you can't affoard a program I'd forget affiliates (don't forget you still have to "recruit" affiliate). My advice:

1. Search for the "free website" method thread and consider it
2. Read the offline marketing forum, get out there and sell websites to local businesses.

I have read that actually. I think everyone has at some point.
I have actually put together my own flavor of that method and it is what I am looking to promote.
I have the ability to track affiliate sales. I am at the "recruiting" stage. Where would I find affiliates?

What makes you different to every other affiliate program out there?

Webmaster forums, affiliate forums, contact web hosts etc

P.S. I believe the best affiliates are satisfied customers.

if you want to make some money you have to find some affiliates... you shuld start from there then you can spend some money on advertising
