Hi guys,

I have local company and I made wordpress website with builders, without coding a long time ago.
I would like to make new web, but I am not sure how. I am deciding between Wordpress and Webflow.
What do you think, what's the best platform to make website for local company (not eshop).

Kapacita

I used to hate on page builders day in and day out - WordPress made me look like a dumb*ss, whatever you need done at whatever quality can be done with WP

Thanks for your advice. I ended up choosing wordpress ;)

Look at these stats:
  • 810 million websites use WordPress, which is 43% of all the websites on the internet
  • WordPress has a 64.2% share of the CMS market, which is more than 10x greater than its closest competitor

Definitely go with WordPress ;)

Well, I am a hardcore fan of Wordpress. I have been preaching Wordpress for the whole of my life. It is true that for the most part of the last decade Wordpress has been the leading CMS platform.

But I think we need to consider few other important aspects. There are many drag and drop platforms arrived in the past few years that have made the website making process more user friendly.

Say Wix, for example. A 60 Year old granpa can also make his website without the help of any pro. Simple drag and drop isn't it?

Self hosted Wordpress needs a certain level of expertise. For a newbie there is big learning curve. We all have mastered that but not every newbie is comfortable with it.

So for those less proficient in using web, I think the best option will be such drag and drop website builders. So I would like to suggest that @kapacita should consider either Wix or Webflow if he has difficulty learning Wordpress.

It is important to get the website up and running rather than investing time to learn new CMS.
