Right now, ElevenLabs is probably the best overall voice AI. Very natural voices, great emotions, and works well for both content creation and faceless channels.

ElevenLabs still feels the most natural to me. OpenAI Voice is catching up, and Grok AI isn’t bad for a quick test. Free tiers work for a scratch test, but paid voices really shine.

Depends on what you're trying to do with it.

If you just want to talk, chat, and bounce ideas back and forth, the regular ChatGPT app with voice mode is easily the smoothest. If you need it for high-volume outbound calls, cold outreach, or lead gen stuff, look into Vapi or Bland AI. They're built exactly for that.
 
For productivity, I suggest Gemini and ChatGPT are leading right now. Most older voice assistants still feel limited compared to newer AI models.
 
ElevenLabs is scary in how realistic it can be. There's no live voice conversion, so you have to pre-record your voice, but the results are fantastic.
 
I found eleven labs to be absolute garbage for voice cloning but their sound effects generator is the best I've ever seen.
