What is the best virtual phone number service in terms of clarity of calls and low pricing?

I know Twillio/Twilio charges $1 per month and I believe it is $0.02 per minute but I am not sure about the clarity of the calls.

I have also heard people use Skype, but they are more expensive - I think at about $10.00/mo and not sure about price per minute; and again not sure about the clairty of the calls.

Does anyone have any experience using these or have any better suggestions?

    Tnx,
    DW

If you are looking for local calling only, I use Google Voice for my calling. It's free and I haven't had any issues with clarity or delay in my calls.

You can setup the G Voice number and use your Firefox or Chrome to call directly from your gmail account using a headset on your computer.

Not sure if you are wanting to use long distance / international as the G Voice charges for that and I haven't used it personally, only local calling.

    Good luck
