Watch Spartacus!

It's by far my favorite show and way better than any movie. I never get bored of watching it.

I don't think there will ever be another show to match it. It's probably the most underrated show.

Its not a series for everyone and many people will find a lot in it offensive. If you are under 16 you should not watch it. For the ones that want to see fights, blood, brutality, violence, explicit sex, erotica ,graphic language, suspense, excitement, honor, friendships intrigues, this is a show for you.

It's really compelling and mesmerizing.

It's like watching a 300 and Gladiator hybrid but way better.

If you liked Rome and Game of Thrones. You will love Spartacus it blows them away.

You need to watch them in the order they were made.

Blood and Sand
Gods of the Arena
Vengeance

Although I must say the latest season made was great but not a masterpiece like the first to seasons.

Mad Men is a great series, thoroughly enjoyable.

If you enjoy science fiction shows, Battlestar Gallactica is a great one. I've also been recently watching Stargate SG-1 from the beginning.

If you haven't watched The Wire yet, go and get the box set. The Sopranos is the daddy of the whole "TV better than film" era, but The Wire is on it's own with it's searing realism and complex interwoven storylines. You need to turn everything else off and give it your individed attention.

That shit is art, no exaggeration.
