Best Traffic Methods for $1000 Dollar Investment

I have $1k to invest in a website. Its a gaming site that is being monetized right now with adsense. Earning $5-10 per day (not bad considering my clicks are a few pennies) with about 400 uv on average. So as you can see the traffic is highly targeted, and i would want to keep it like that ofcourse.

The thing is, i want to invest in the fastest and best traffic strategies that will basically multiply my traffic x10. Hence my earnings will jump from $200-300 per month website to $2000-3000/mth.

For those of you that really know what your doing (traffic-wise), what is the single best way to get (adsense safe) traffic to your site with the panda updates, etc?

I figure the best thing to do is outsource the work?

Ideals i have from the forum and have already incorporated:


  • Building mini blogs that funnel back to my main site
  • Youtube Videos
  • Articles Marketing
  • Building inner pages and backlinking (keyword targeting)

These general ideals i have, are they good? I am looking for the "what would you do if you have 1k to invest" - to get massive traffic to a website that could be a good bread winner.

Now i know i will scale up, but are there any other original ideals that are proven and tested by yourselves?

Optin + video marketing (in wow niche i got 250$ / 5000 views on a youtube movie)....

yea, so basically an optin =)

Then you can do top 30 gaming forums, post on them, gather more optin potentials...

also media buying (banners on major gaming sites) - try buysellads dot com..

well, that's all i can think for now...

P.S. my site in the wow niche made me <1$ with 1000 uv (in adsense) :( wtf!

Yeah i was funneling all the traffic to my aweber so i have 2k optins but could not convert a sale. The traffic is worldwide and most just won't buy. Hence the adsense change from trying to sell products. I think if i stick a optin in there i will take on a bill ($19-$50/mth) and it will cut deep into my adsense revenue. Ofcourse the forum could get somemore adsense clicks but i don't know if it would really increase my ROI.

But i was looking into media buys but just didn't want to shell out the dough if it was going to be less than what ansense would pay. So in other words, the traffic has to be huge and i guess i need to study all that out, to get the right ROI.

Optin is good if i had a product but right now adsense is just to easy, no credit card, most don't even know they help pay me i guess.

My issue with youtube marketing is even after studying out the keywords my videos usually get about 20-100 hits and die. I guess i will have to backlink each one?

I am going to look into backlinking my dud videos and buysellads, any other suggestions guys?

Create a Facebook fan page if you don't already have one. The viral effect Facebook can have can be incredible. All the people that become fans will see your future posts on that page - so you have a way to advertise to somebody interested in your niche as long as your page lasts. Use this to your advantage - let them know when you post something new or if you're holding a competition (this could help bring more traffic too) etc. A large, targetted Facebook group can be incredibly powerful.

To get the likes started you could try a clickjacking plugin. I believe Shezboy recently released one and it has had some very positive reviews. If you're interested, here's the BST thread.

Also, if you don't have a Twitter account already, make one. Put a follow button on your website and notify your followers whenever you release a new post.
 
You're making $5-$10 per day, and your clicks are worth 'a few pennies', and you get about 400 uniques a day.
Let's say you get 5 cents per click even. You're getting 100-200clicks per day. That's a clickthru rate of 25-50%. Just saying.

That is an extremely nice idea, but the hardest part is to get good Quality Outsourced workers.

lol, you forget that google doesn't work percent based off of UV but off of pageviews in which this includes robots.. just saying;)

That is the hardest part, most of these guys are looking for easy work and not wanting to put in the effort, alot of them get scammed and they are not working the way they use to a few years back it seems. Not to mention paying $30 a pop for each backlink job can get costly.

ATM, I am looking into getting some kind of bot that can post really fast on youtube, but that is hard to come by too. or at least i haven't found one i like just yet.

So what you're saying is you get a couple thousand robots visiting your site daily to bring the CTR to a reasonable rate?
 
Try advertising on ity.im we got 38,502 visitors yesterday alone from ity.im I know the owner so let me know if you need support in keeping a positive ROI.
 
All of the ideas are listed above, I would suggest you to do some blackhat trick to recieve some additional FB likes, like some viral FB like script and PPC network to buy traffic. that's all you can do right

yup, and page views.. not just a one hit visitor, but the pages he/she visitors mixed in with robots is all that google records to figure your percentage. Its on there adsense forum page if you would like to read up on it.
 
Ok, what i decided to do was to replica the same exact website theme layout, but change it over to a high paying Adsense keyword. Paying around .80/1.20 per click.
Credit Card
Loans
Debt

You know the old usual high paying keywords...
I will run the same campaings but by changing these keywords i might have a low/lower CTR but much higher click revenue.

For example, i might get a 1%-2% CTR, but 10-20 clicks would be worth $13-25 bucks per day at first and added with my now $9 adverage we could be well onto $30/day or 900/mth.

BTW, this is just my adsense plan, i do have other money making businesses.

The debt market is competitive, so i will stick with youtube+twitter as the SEO would be difficult and very time consuming.
 
I would definetely build backlinks to my website and spend at least $500 in youtube advertising campaigns.
Via google adwords.

Dirt cheap clicks.
 
PTC sites are always a nutritious part of your traffic driving breakfast....places like clixsense etc...
 
Unfortunately the traffic on PTC websites are not targeted at all!
At least not from my experience...
 
some times you just need some stuffing to get up in the SERPS
