I'm looking to open an online store for physical products. Which shopping cart do you like best?
Use search button bro. Many threads will point to Magento.
Check out opencart, it is very powerful out of the box, the devs are always updating it, it has a strong community with 1000s of extensions, and is very seo friendly. You can't go wrong.
I use interspire bro. I like everything about it.
The one with more functions: Magento The ones balanced on usuability and user friendly oscommerce/zen cart.
It could be Magento, osCommerce, Zencart or prestashop (prestashop is more created to newbies), so it is really up to you how deep you want to dive in with eCommerce and what part of your company structure would control the eCommerce software.
Following are the choices :
5. WP-Ecommerce Plugin
Btw IMO Opencart and prestashop are best.
Have recently moved from oscommerce to prestashop
Prestashop is a lot nicer to work with in the backend but oscommerce has the benefits of lots of free add ons while the prestashop ones all seems to cost
From what I've read about magneto it's a pretty steep learning curve
i have been using zencart for years on a few of my stores. zencart in combination with magneticone and you cant go wrong. zencart is not the easiest to set up but in my opinion its worth it.
i have been use it before..
i've used 1 shopping cart before
I use OpenCart on several sites...working nice.
Prestashop is free and it is very flexible and effective e-commerce system and Prestashop is quicker than Magento.
Zulu Cart is a newer e-commerce platform that looks very nice.
magneto and i quite like open cart OS comerce as well
The above mentioned are great, but I personally prefer Joomla + VirtueMart
I prefer to use Magento.
I love OpenCart. It is very nube friendly and has alot of free extensions/plugins that come in handy for whatever type of business you run. It also has a great community of people that help eachother when you are stuck or experiencing some errors. Hope this helps!
Magento is top notch.
