Hello all, I'm looking to ramp up my YouTube game but I need a screen recorder of some sort to make the top 10 videos for my niche like I want to. Looking for suggestions on the best free/affordable screen recorders with no watermark. Also video creation software suggestions would be nice as well. Thinking premiere or davinci. Cheers

What are you using for an operating system?

Also, anyone seeing this thread later; who uses windows 10... You already have screen recorder installed. Just press win + g to use it.

Follow btb's trick if you are on mac.

Free bandicam, you can remove watermark on editing.
Paid Litecam, rarely lags

I have a MacBook that is a couple years old. Still a lot of free space

Use quicktime player for screen recording and imovie for editing your videos on your macbook. This will serve as a great option for beginners. Once you have growth in your audience then you can go for premium options such as camtasia, final cut pro or adobe premiere pro for screen recording and editing.

All the best :)

If you have nvidia video card you should use GeForce Experience's recorder. It's the best in my opinion and it's free too

I use electa but i am quite surprised i thought here at bhw camtasia was the most popular goto software for screen capture very strange times and disheartening to see :( i think some where free version of pre cracked camtasia is there on bhw

Thank you, and thank you to everyone who provided me with a suggestion! I feel like I will use Mac's standard applications until I get to the point where I need more advanced software. I appreciate all of you and will eventually make a new thread documenting my progress.
