I also use Proxy Goblin - it is a very great tool, and the proxies you harvest is OK (go for Elite proxies). You can even run it on a VPS and sent you a mail every day with fresh proxies or set it to upload via FTP.

Do you mind being more specific please? Do you somehow get the IP Ranges from the proxies you harvested using Forum Proxy Leecher. I may be missing something obvious, but do not understand exactly or can not follow?

Thanks, got it now, Understand exactly now, what a great tool, ProxyFire that is.
Do you scan the proxies you get from lists for anon or anything else before you scan/convert to for IP Ranges/blocks?
no for the cheeky questions: what are the tell tail signs of new and unknown (virgin) IP block ranges??
I read in some older post that Scrapebox does not test for anon, but I do believe that it has been upgraded and does indeed check for Level 1 and 2 proxies and will fail Level 3.

From my experience only two proxy scraper are good today:
- Proxy Multiply ($59): hxxp://proxy.jrimsoftware.XXX
- ProxyHarvester + SimpleProxyChecker ($19): ​hxxp://proxyharvester.rapidform​filler.XXX
This two softwares are perfect to scrape proxies, with dynamic sources (auto-harvest fresh URLS), threaded, nicely developed, with a good proxy checker.
The second tool have a third party proxy checker (included), ready to test proxies against Google, Yahoo, Twitter API, YouTube, Craiglist, ... all is customizable, it's a good point for people who wants to control everythings.

but remember

they only re hash already posted proxies
hence why they last such a short time
the tools are the same as forum proxy lecher
just leeching posted proxies from urls
weather the price is 1$ or 50$ they all do
exactly the same thing.. leech urls nothing
more.

Precisely I use these two tools because they are NOT simple urls leechers, they harvest fresh sources before each scrape.
Its like what you do manually with Scrapebox & Google past 24h...
It will be perfect when they will support internal automatic proxy scanner.

i will repeat
any tool such as proxy grabber / proxy multiply / proxy harvester / forum proxy leecher
all do the same thing, they leech proxys from urls, the are the same proxys u can scrape with a
free leecher if u made a url list by hand. they are the same proxy everyone else is leeching and
using, there is no difference in what each of them does. they may look different but they all
do the same thing. leech already posted proxies that everyone else is using.

look ive been on bhw 4 yrs, ive work around the proxy industry
since 2005, along time. when using url scrape public proxies
there is 1 golden rule, no matter how many proxies u scrape
50k-100k-200k - you will NEVER get more then 5k working live
NEVER. 5k is the average amount. so testing 100-200k is a
waste of time.. try it go test 100k ille bet you anything you get
4-5k working proxies. tell me if im wrong.
port scanning proxies will always be superior to to scraping them
because its all about probing internet isp's from around the world
for live proxies that u can not url scrape.
