I have an old domain that is worth about $1000 according to godaddys valuation tool. It's not the best domain ever but it's pretty vague and could be brandable. It also is aged and has a ton of backlinks. If any of you have experience selling domains, what is the best way to sell it quickly? I don't expect to get the full 1000 or even close to it, I would be happy with anything above $100. I just don't need it and it's sitting around. Or maybe should I just write/buy some blogposts on it and let it collect ad money? I need your guys opinion, let me know what you think I should do with it.

GoDaddy's evaluation tool is a near-worthless assessment.

I've seen domains not even worth the registration cost appraised for thousands, and vice versa.

Any tool that's more accurate that you know of?

This is what I can tell you.

1. Fuckdaddy valuation tools are suck. Only a new domainer and some people without a brain who believe in that number (sorry if this offensive but it's true). So, forget that number.
2. The price of a domain does not depend on the place where to sell it. It depends on the buyer, especially those who need it for branding. Even domain match keyword, back links DA PA TF etc have factors to rise the price.
3. If this is an expired domain. You should talk with @Nargil. I only know the one here who knows about the expired domain. Probably he can give you some estimation value and pointed to the right buyer.
4. If you want to develop the domain, it yours. You can do whatever you want. Made a website, write content, and earn some money to buy Ferrari sounds good to me.

That's all.

I want to sell a one-word domain name and looking for a domain marketplace as well, so i will keep an eye on this thread

Just send it over via PM and I will take a look. You own the domain, so you have nothing to be worried about.

Is it just a domain or does it have a website linked with proven revenue as I've sold of these via Flippa
