Just wondering what places are the best for buying websites in your experience?
Also, would anyone be able to give me a rough estimate on how much a site getting 500+ UV would cost? Or are there too many factors

too many factors including adsense revenue, probbility to increase revenue, age, PR etc

Flippa for normal mainstream sites

gfy for adult sites

I think the best way is to create your own, do SEO, and promote it. You will be sure that you will make money, buying sites from flippa I think most of them are scams (about their revenue stats).

I like flippa. Most people value a site based on income, not traffic. Traffic is easy to fake.

Flippa is good but when buying any site you need to understand that best case scenario someone has decided that their time isn't worth the reward. This is subjective to what a persons time is worth, but just know that most of the time there is work involved, and risk incurred when you pick up a flipped website. Rarely are they turn key success packages.
