Hi Plus44,
You mentioned chargebacks so I am assuming you are processing credit cards. This means you need your own direct merchant account (MID) or to find another large aggregator like Paypal which will give you an account to process credit cards. I am in the direct merchant account industry so I don't know much about other options similar to Paypal which provide credit card processing. However, I can tell you that e-wallet systems like Venmo won't work because they don't process credit cards, and gateways like Authorize.net are not going to help you because gateways don't provide the merchant account (MID). You have to have your own MID to plug into a gateway like Authorize.net. Most merchant account providers are OK with chargebacks up to 2%, less than 1% like you are doing is very good. If you have the odd month where you get above the 1% or 2% metric you will be OK - the problems begin if you have 3 months in a row of higher chargeback levels. If you cannot find something that will work similar to Paypal, you should just google "merchant account" or "high risk merchant account" and start reaching out to providers. There are many other factors they will consider before accepting you, such as what is your product or service (is it legal), where you are located (what country), where you sell to, how you bill the customer and what are your Terms, etc.
