Well.. Think what you want to think lol. "master a language" could mean something else to you than what it does, to me. Not messing around with your perception of a "long learning curve".

That is called jack of all trades, master of none. That is your definition of mastering a language. You probably know all of them, but are you good at using them?

Again, "good at using them" is rubbish. I don't play hockey with programming languages. I use it to solve daily problems. If it solves my purpose, I would say I coded a program successfully. You probably are still studying, or something?

I don't think there's a best but there's abundance. Coding to me is unilateral in learning.
