Yes, if you learn one language for example phython, later in your career you can pick up new languages more easily because all of them share the same concepts, only the syntax is different.

Absolutely rubbish. It took me 4-5 days to learn python from scratch, and I do not have 180 iq or anything. Yes, if someone is totally new to programming, it might take a while; but not for everyone (and not months)...
Don't get disheartened by this post OP.

OP will totally need a few months to become a somewhat decent python programmer. For most automation stuff you don't need to be decent though so if you are only doing some stuff to support your IM game you can reach some good things even in a few weeks as a beginner. Still doubt you are a good python programmer after 4-5 days even if you knew other languages before.

Yup, and I am fucking serious... Before I attempted learning python, I already had experience in C, PHP, Javascript and Perl.. Yes it took me 4 days to learn Python..
Yeah.. As for example, django/flask will take more than 4 days for sure; but not a single file python script. It's damn easy to begin with let's say, a selenium based scraper.

I would suggest you to dive into it. You have nothing to lose, right? Try to make a bot for yourself, instead of learning the whole language. That's a lot faster than traditional programming courses.

It's not depend weeks or months also. Actually it's depend on your time. I mean how much time you have for learning. If you have a good time Or you can spend 5,6 hours per day. I think you will be complete pythan in just 2 months.. Good luck for your journey.

you need 200 hours of learning and practicing to complete python beginner level .... there's a lot of free python courses on udemy and YouTube... good luck .
