Best method to accept $3k payment for services?

I have used 2checkout for the past 5 years now and have had 2-3 successful chargebacks only. They have a good fraud review system that will provide a good deal of protection.
Also if anyone does a chargeback you are able to fight the chargeback with the buyer's bank.
Only thing is the commissions can be high for low volume merchants . I pay around 6% per transaction.
Also google check out is another worthy alternative.

I live in Australia, but am a US Citizen with a personal US bank account and do business in the US... I provide professional services to offline clients, but involves online "marketing" stuff (I am a newb, so my offline/online terminology might be a bit skew).
Anyway, its a 100% legit biz, but bank wire (or online transfer) is just the way I and everyone else in the biz operate. I would have no prob with accepting checks, but clients prefer simplicity of wire.
lol, I feel i need to justify myself only because people have taken the time to give me good ideas and suggestions, but if one doesn't believe me, that's fine.

Yeah wire transfer is best paypal sometimes limit account for no reason just because of suspicion

Paypal will take a chunk outta that money, and might even hold that money up because they have suspicions. I recieved $1200 through them in white hat, and they limited my account, held the money for 90 days, and gave it back to my customer. It was the biggest hit I ever took online, AND that was about 8 years ago. I heard they aren'nt as nice

Where did you get that from? PayPal does charge fees for Purchase transactions.
If it's a Personal Transfer then it's free but you might get charged a few cents.
Purchase transactions are Disputable.
Personal transactions are NOT.

Google Checkout is only supported for US/UK sellers while paypal is supported in ~200 countries so are 2checkout and moneybookers.
