So I have a client that is very localised, as an example:
A locksmith which covers the entire New York area.
I want to ensure they are ranking for all localised terms such as: Wueens Bronx but then also the inner suburbs such as fresh meadows.
For me to paste an entire list of suburbs within the page looks keyword stuffy and messy.
My idea is to have an interactive map which will only display the locations that he works across, however, I want there to be the functionality that when a suburb is hovered over a text box appears with a list of suburbs within this area, the text will have to be visible as HTML to search engines but only when hovered over.
Is there any map plugins which have this custom functionality?
Failing this, I can easily have one built, however, I'm unsure which would be the best format to use and the best way to embed the text to ensure search engines can crawl the text.
