I know you may want to gift yourself due to your hard work and earned income, but it would be wiser for you to invest the money instead.

This will then in turn start to multiply your money. After investing some more, start putting away some money for savings and some to play with (in this order).

Either way, best of luck to you.

You know what the Aqua Di Gio was hot sh*t like 12-15 years ago. You're probably a younger guy so it's cool. To me it's like the saying you can tell a mans best year of his life by his haircut. So that's why I don't wear it. 1 good thing though since it's pretty much a "classic" scent is it will give women good vibes subconsciously of the guy she was in love/lust with whether he was a great guy or an a**hole that wore it.

Like someone said above is to see what smells good on your skin. This comes from trial/error. Best is to go to Walmart or somewhere and buy a few little $15-$40 bottles and try them out. Curve, Kenneth Cole, (Cool Water is classic beastmode cologne as well) and some other trendy stuff. The most expensive stuff isn't always the best. Otherwise go to Macy's and get help from a cutie cologne girl. 1 day wear one, next day a different one. When you get at least 2 females complementing your smell, you have a winner.

*EDIT* Just noticed you're a NY guy... So of course you're going to go to Macy's LOL

Thank you for the advice. You are completely right and that is what I am currently doing right now. I am just rewarding myself after not getting myself anything for a while. Even though I am buying myself these commodities I invested $5000 back into my system , so for you newbies don't take my post as something you should follow when you start earning some money. ALWAYS invest and expand first, cater to yourself later.

Thanks to snOrt for reminding me to say this.

Most of these colognes will make you smell like a cheap and sleazy Spaniard.

Issey Miyake (all of them) are excellent.
Tom Ford Vanille Tobacco

Any of these and you will definitely be getting your fingers in some jam during your vacation.

Depending on your ph and the weather/occasion, I'll recommend these 3.

Want to get girls? Scent is most tied to memory. Where do girls go that they adore and is a familiar scent to them? Think mall store with a creepy CEO that is too ugly to work int their store. Also, they spray a whole bottle into the vents before opening. Yeah, that shit is fierce.

Ooooookay...now we're speaking my language. I'm going to tell it like it is, so don't get offended. If you guys like a cologne and it works for you, great. However, let me offer a different perspective.

Out of this list, Tom Ford's are the best. I think you (and most guys) need to up your game in the fragrance department; this means, do not always buy your cologne at a department store because you'll end up spending your life smelling like every other new college grad with $100 in his pocket.

My $.02...find a rare scent that is your signature...brand yourself, be different. Start with Galimard or Fragonard, the oldest perfumiers on the planet, and from Grasse,FR, the mecca of scents. If you insist on buying stuff at a dept. store, head to Saks or Neimann Marcus or Barneys and check out Bond no.9 collection. Go to basenotes and read! Also, search for Subster here, he's a BHW donor, totally legit and BIG in fragrances...super nice dude too. Good luck mate...don't settle for normal!
