I would recommend the SEMrush suite. The price for a single user is fair.
The keyword research data is pretty reliable because it is based on clickstream data. The other metrics such as competition or related % can be really useful for choosing the right targets. You even get an overview of what SERP features are popping up for specific keywords, so you can filter keywords that have featured snippets or local results.
You'll also get a lot more with it like domain v domain comparison, website audits, rank tracking, backlink audits, etc etc etc. For $99 I think it is a fair price for everything you get. Moz is getting better, but I think SEMrush is better for the more adept SEO.
