    I started blogging using Namecheap.

I got it from their Halloween promo. I think I paid only $1 for the entire year.

When you're starting out, it's best to keep things cheap. I didn't have to worry about monthly bills. It allows me to focus on writing without the pressure to make money quickly.

After nearly a year I was earning a consistent income from blogging. So I moved to Cloudways.

Is there a place where I can (in a safe way) share site ground accounts with someone? I have a lone site but want to try it out for a year or so but don't wish to get a whole package just to try it.

Namecheap is best to get started and relatively less hassle.

Namecheap? The most I had with it was about 50k visitors in 1 day when one of my articles went viral. It was only for 2 days though.

I would recommend SiteGround. It's not the cheapest but extremely reliable.

Depends on the type of blog you're running.

If you're just getting off the ground it would be best to start off with a reputable shared host like namecheap - they charge a low fee for the year.
