Square (1:1) still works fine for feed, but if you’re relaunching, go 9:16 first, then repurpose to 1:1 as backup.

Of course 9:16. That's the trend because it is the aspect ratio for almost all the social media reels now

In 2025, vertical 9:16 videos are performing the best especially for Reels and Stories. Square (1:1) still works fine, but vertical ads are getting more engagement and conversions.
