Best for email deliverability?

Hey guys,
I used to have an aweber account that I spammed. Got banned many times and I kept opening new accounts.

But now I want to build a legit email list and that means I'll have to keep hiding from aweber. I don't want this.

Got any alternatives?

Tried getresponse, they fucking suck. No inbox.
Mail chimp doesn't allow make money online stuff.

Anyone tried their own physical private server with smtp mailing? How's the inbox rate?

Yes, but you have to be smart. you have to scrub your emails, verify your emails, and then when you are ready to send you have to ease into it. You cannot send 50k emails at once. You have to ramp up your IP address by sending low quantities at first and then gradually larger in order to gain reputation. Getreponse isn't inboxing because of Getresponse. It's more likely that you haven't scrubbed your emails, are sending massive emails from known spam domain, or the actual content is using spam related test or phrases.

Don't blame the provider. Blame the list you are using and the content you are sending.
 
I use mailchimp, but I'm not sure if this will work in your current situation.
 
There are a lot of bulk mailing services out there, most have free trial, try some and see, if you're satisfied with the results or no. I guess you can start with SendGrid, when i tried, the inboxing rate was pretty damn good with all the major free ESPs.

Yes on G.R, I only had 77 email addresses anyway. That's a tiny volume and a new domain name that I didn't spam. Could my I.p be blacklisted?

Yes, it could be, most likely it is. That's one good reason why you should rather use a bulk mailing service with whitelisted ips than your own setup.

But doesn't G.R use their own I.P? And do you recommend any tools to check the spam levels of my emails?

Aweber bans me too all the time. I normally just open a new one on a VPS and re upload the list.

No self hosted autoresponder yet. Not until I have a huge list.
