I have tries irobot (sucks), and scrapebox (works to some degree)...still looking for a good tool to scrape email from targeted websites.

irobot looked promising but it freezes a lot, was impossible to stop or close once it started.

scrapebox worked to some degree and was able to retrieve URLS then emails from these URLS...(I guess it is more focused on commenting)...was able to retrieve no more than 1000 URLs which was very limiting....

I am sure there is a better tool out there to scrape emails

Can you help me find it?

Appreciate all the help I can get

Answer would depend on how you want to use it... Do you want to extract all emails from a site or group of sites (which you specify) or do you want to extract emails by your bot searching google for different keywords and going on sites ranking for those keywords ?

    Good question.

I guess both options...In some cases I would like it to scan the internet through a SE (e.g. Google) based on keywords and find relevant pages which will be scanned for email addresses. In other cases, I may want to provide a URL to be scanned for deeper reach.

I played with scrapebox and was able to get some results using both options, only it seems it is limited to 1000 URLs. Is this correct?

scrapebox looks like a great tool...any other tools out there that can be used for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Tnx.
