Hello there folks I currently have all my domains with namecheap but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so I'm looking to diversify. I've heard that NameSilo is a good registrar as well I don't have any experience with them though, my question is what's the best domain registrar that you've been with or would recommend?

I register most of my domains with Namecheap but I have a few on NameSilo.
Never had problems with any of them and I would recommend both.

Porkbun. Oink, oink. :)

"Porkbun is an amazingly awesome ICANN accredited domain name registrar based out of the Pacific Northwest. We're different, we're easy, and we're affordable. Use us, you won't be sorry. If you don't use us we'll be sad, but we'll still love you."

Honestly, i have all my sites with namechap and i never had any issues. Diversifying my registrars is like the last thing on my mind. I have i think 7 domains registered.

I dont know, i just never had any sort of problems as far as domain providers go. Namechap works just fine for me.

Yeah man I'll for sure be adding NameSilo to my diversification list

Yeah name cheap has been alright to me so far. I've heard some horror stories of people getting their domains removed from namecheap.
Why would you want to diversify domains? Namecheap works like a charm, just don’t go with GoDaddy

Check my reply above for why I want to diversify and yeah I'll never get with GoDaddy or anything of the sorts. After all better safe than sorry :)

Thanks fellas for the replies

I'm using these
Name.com
Namesilo
Porkbun
Epik
Dynadot
Namebright
uniregistry
There are some other Registrars that I'm using but those above are the top ones

Namesilo & Porkburn are my 2 most used.

Both offer free privacy for life ( long before Namecheap hopped on the band wagon )

Porkbun does some great deals on .com for the first 3 you register, they are under $5 a year for first year.

When you use a new registrar always double-check their renewal price and their transfer out policy
Yeah definitely I won't use a registrar that I haven't thoroughly read through the TOS & Other policies.

A few people suggested porkbun will definitely check em out alongside NameSilo. Thanks mister F

Pretty sure GoDaddy is part of the EIG
I google it but didn't understand well, is this like a company to track internet users and domains?
I really don't why shouldn't go with Godaddy, I'm pretty new to the BH thing... Have domains on Godaddy and Amen.

Because they suck, expensive, and full of bugs.

The $5 for the first year can be a trap. What's the renewal price?

I pay $10.96 for a .com renewal on Namecheap (with discount coupon applied).
