Best Cheap Hosting?

I know everyone says to use siteground but I'm not paying like 150-200$ per year on hosting for a single website, especially since I like to take it slow with my sites and may not pay off until 2 years later.

I've been using name cheap because it's literally only 60-70$ for a full year, less than half of sitegrounds renewal price and and it's a bit slower, I'll give you that but I dont think half a second justifies paying more than double the price.

I Just bought hosting from Hostkoala (found this while reading this thread), I've used Namecheap earlier.
 
How much disk space are you looking for? I'd like to recommend 000Webhost but I'm not sure if you can still change nameservers (kinda bs)
 
Siteground is very expensive for what they offer. It seems to me it is mostly marketed for affiliate reasons. It is on a par with Hostgator and its ilk. A great place to look for reasonable shared hosting is the shared hosting thread on WHT:

Whenever I need hosting I just work my way through a page of posts checking pricing. It is very easy to find hosting for around a $1/month. You can always check trustpilot reviews.
 
5ivehost. com i'm with this hosting since 1 month ago and its really more than great cheap than you starting at 1.33$/mo with free domain . com and also there is other plan with great and fast support and free ssl and free cloud
also the a2hosting. com the is the both i already used

I like Siteground. Yes they are expensive when you have to renew but I like the performance, customer support and account areas.

I will no longer buy cheap hosting, it's just not worth it.
 
When it comes to the best hosting for the least amount of $ SiteGround is definitely your best choice for the first year and, when taking into account renewal prices I don´t think anything come close to NameCheap Stellar Business Cloud Plan.

If I am not mistaken it´s like $105 after the first year for unlimited websites to be hosted on their cloud platform.

Off the top of my head, I can name a few hosting providers I´ve read a lot of positive reviews that offer relative low renewal prices.

The best cheap hosts are: kvchosting.net and legionbox.com.
They provide timely support and a good hosting which is very reliable.
 
site ground and a2 hosting are good but expensive when you are going to renew its best to buy the 3 year plan if you are joining to get the maximum discount.
I do feel if you are just starting out namecheap plan should be more than enough they have black fridays and cyber monday deals which cost 5 to 10 dollars a year for the stellar plan. till you are profitable and getting alot of traffic to the point your hosting is a bottle neck than change hosting as your monetization from the traffic should be enough to cover your hosting charges and should not be a burden to you financially

I can't emphasize this enough: any low- to mid-tier VPS is way better and cheaper than your average hosting provider. Apart from having a full control over your server, it is simply much cheaper, esp. in the long run and esp. you have multiple websites hosted on one machine... no upsells, no extras for basic things such as SSL certificates, etc... yes, it takes some knowledge of Linux but it will pay off x100

if that were the case Google cloud hosting would be an option as it free for a year if you stick within 300 bucks
 
You can use google cloud from centos7. You should create plesk.

Wait so you're actually just saying that instead of buying hosting for the websites, you just get the VPS and set-up hosting on your own? Probably just install CPanel and host that way? Great idea, thanks!
