Best Bulk Cold Emailing Solution 2021

how many follow ups do you send?

i'm thinking about running a campaign to find clients for my facebook ads marketing agency

getting personal emails of CEOs and marketing directors using ad spy tools, basically any ecommerce stores that are currently running ads, i wanna link up with them

i'm thinking i can cold email 100 new businesses daily with 1 follow up. total of 200 emails per day. do you think 1 follow up is sufficient?

also, how many warm up emails are you sending per day? right now i'm sending 10 daily

thanks

2/3 follow ups max. More = higher risk of landing in spam because of spam complaints.

1 follow up is better for deliverability but you may miss some leads. Test 2 vs 1 and compare the results.

If you send 200 emails per day, aim for 40/50 warm up emails daily.

thanks bro

right now i'm sending emails to 100 new businesses a day and including my calendly scheduling link to the email

with this level of consistency i have a feeling that there is no way i won't get clients. by sheer volume and luck, someone will happen to be interested, click through to schedule a call. i expect most scheduled calls to no show, but the ones that do show up i can convince them over the phone

i can reach out to 3000 businesses a month. i should be able to grab 1 client out of that, hopefully they'll pay me at least $1000 a month to manage their ads

once i know this works, i can keep the consistent emails going, and slowly build up my client base

If you do plan on doing something like this, I'd suggest swapping IP addresses for each mailing.

I wouldn't put any links in your first email to them, just write a short email to see if they are interested then when they reply back to you, you send them links. Adding links will hinder deliverability.

When I get a cod email and I get lots every day in Gmail, I just hit report spam. I wonder how many like me are out there and how will it affect you?

i started using mailshake and in my opinion the user interface is complete shit and confusing

saleshandy is a lot better, but lately all my emails sent with saleshandy are getting 0% open rate so i have to move on from them

just re read through this thread, definitely a lot of value in here. thanks @Shatzyo

Thanks.

@Shatzyo what're your thoughts on saleshandy?

Never used.

In all cases, if you want the best cold email deliverability, send using Google Workspace or Office 365, like a normal person.

All these tools : SalesHandy, Woodpecker, Reply, Snov, Outreach, Mixmax, Lemlist, Emelia, Gmass, YAMM, Mailmeteor : they have very important thing in common, they automate the sending of emails through Google and Microsoft which is great.

The emails are sent from Google or Microsoft IPs, which is very important, and that's what makes the difference of deliverability compared to shitty tools like PMTA, MailWizz, Sendy = not human / detected by Google / Microsoft = shit deliverability in 90% of the cases.

What you need to check in all these tools is the following : do they allow you to set up your own tracking domain. If not, skip them. Because if they don't, they'll insert a shitty tracking domain in all the emails of every customer, so you will have in your email, the same shitty tracking domain as all the other people potentially spamming with that tracking domain.

Once you've validated that, it's all a matter of features, tastes and user experience but they're mostly equal in terms of deliverability.

By the way, make sure your email content is not spammy and test your deliverability. For that you can use Mailreach brand new free spam test, they did a great job on it, try it : https://www.mailreach.co/email-spam-test/

A lot of people do that and it hurts the reputation of the sender a lot, that's why email warm up is useful.

Thanks.

thanks for the advice

i did a small test with mailshake

d339768d4ca4eb1491a5c989c093c898.png

i'm gonna just use mailshake from now on. 70% opens and 1 unsubscribe so technically 10% reply rate

gonna scale up and send more. if my reply rate goes down below 10-15% after 20-40 emails i'm gonna switch up my case study in the email to try and entice these CEOs, get them really interested in my offer

i also have mailreach and i'm warming 2 email accounts right now. i created them both at the same time and i'm using one of them immediately but on a small scale. i haven't warmed them for 2 weeks. if my open rates start plummeting and i'm going to spam on 1 acc, i'll wait for my secondary account to finish warming after 2 weeks and use that

mailshake seems like the best option guys. i made my custom domain: asdlfkj12789.mydomain.com

not sure why but it's working. getting 70% open rates. hopefully 10-15% replies, and finally 1-4% booked meetings

so how much does mailshake pay you for these posts?

mailshake is crap. Basically all these programmed warm up solutions are useless. The automated email addresses you send to are all known to the ISP's.

Do your own warming up manually - don't be lazy.

nothing. i'm just sharing my experience. i was using saleshandy before, open rates were low, such as 0%. obviously something was wrong

i actually hate mailshake. the user interface sucks, imo. but i did a test and got 70% open rate. did another test today, 14 emails sent, 36% open rate. granted it's saturday and my sample size is small. but let's see

i wouldn't be surprised if i can get a steady 60-70% open rate, which means the list i'm sourcing from is adequate. so all i really need to do now is work on the actual cold emails that i'm sending

May I ask where are you sourcing your list from?

Hey @Shatzyo
Hope you are doing good bro,

1-Personally do you add the sending domains to Google Postmaster Tools for Spam Complaints Reports?
2-Do you recommend registering to the major ISPs’ complaint feedback loops to protect the sending reputation?

I am asking this question because as you know when you send cold emails to an "X" List (After a specific campaign), you can have an idea about "Unsubscribes" and "Bounces" so that you can evaluate the list (of course besides the open & Reply rates) but Obviously you will not know email accounts from that "X" List who mark the email as Spam (or at least the percentage of those Spam Complainers) so that you avoid keep sending emails to those complainers because this will certainly hurt your sending reputation

I hope you understand what I mean

thanks to everyone that contributed to these thread i learn alot about emailing

Yo,

1. I never use Google Postmaster Tools.

2. I don't really think you have to do that to have a good sending reputation. But it could be interesting to try to see what you can learn from this. I won't do it since I now have a setup with which I have literally zero reputation issue, like never.

Concerning the spam complainers and unsubscribers : don't spend time trying to analyze the people who are not interested. Just respect their will to leave the list and leave them in peace, otherwise they'll hurt your reputation. Normally you don't keep them in your list as you're supposed to have an unsubscribe link. If you don't, you will get spam problems sooner or later, 100%.

That's simple, you have a great sending reputation when you're considered as an interesting sender that send relevant emails to your recipients. That's how Google, Microsoft score you. An interesting sender to them is some who sends emails that get opened, read, starred, replied (positively is better, that's why I love Mailreach), saved from spam.

It's mostly about getting a high engagement rate. That includes a low spam complaint rate. This is exactly what email warming does.

Google knows you send the same emails to thousands of Gmail users. If only a few of Gmail users open / reply to your emails or worst, a lot put you in spam, then you'll end up in spam on Gmail.

All of this is very logical, and this is how social media work too. If you post stuff that nobody likes, your future posts will be less shown to people. Social platforms want you to stay on them, they have zero interest in showing you uninteresting stuff, otherwise you'll leave.

Hello dear Shatzyo.

I want to say you a very big thank you for providing such great value on cold email in this forum. I see that you're very experienced on this subject and i'd like to ask you, how could i learn how to send cold emails legally?

I have some questions for you:

1. What cold emails do you send? Do you send B2B emails to people from Europe? Is it 100% legal to do so?

2. How do i attain emails legally? Do you know any platform or a website where i could get B2B emails totally legally?

3. How do i learn what product to promote via cold email? So far i was promoting SMM service: I was reselling Instagram followers, likes, comments etc.. It works great, but im wondering where i could get ideas what to sell?

4. Are you sure that if you send B2B emails to Europe , its 100% legal? I'll consult with a laywer in my country who knows EU laws on data protection, so she/he should answer all my replies.

5. And finally, do you know any place where i could learn how to do cold email? I mean, there is not much information on this forum about cold emailing, there are not many youtube videos about cold emailing either. Do you know any communities where i can find such people? Let me know, thanks a lot!
