Best anti-virus for PC

Kaspersky for me but it is RussianI guess lol

Honestly, if you're computer-savvy, you really don't need anti-virus protection. I'll occasionally run scans once maybe every few months, but that's it. I use Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes to scan when I do decide to. :)

1) Windows Updates
2) Firewall
3) User's browsing habits
4) AV

In that order. When people focus in on #4, it means they don't know or don't care about the 1st three. Those people are known as "chronically infected", and I make good money from them.

I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security for almost 5 years now and it does the job well...

im Using Kaspersky For years and think its the best in term of Internet Security :)

i use norton [ you will think it is scrap , but you will love it after you use it ]

Windows security essentials for regular browsing, and VMware for running exe's downloaded online.

ESET Nod Smart Security FTW!. Those who are saying about Kaspersky must consider ESET as its not a resource hog like Kaspersky. It runs silently in the backgroud

You're joking right?

Interesting. That's how I feel about Kaspersky vs Norton. So you think ESET is better? I might have to look at that.

I used bit defender, norton... but now antivir free edition for years now and no problems.

This is a 3 months key for kaspersky internet security 2013 if you're not interested in buying one: 4GGYH-S7HEJ-QEGXT-4C88H

Anti-virus programs tend to slow down a system. What I do is have a light yet powerful program such as Microsoft Security Essentials and scan any suspcious file at VirusTotal. I never get a virus.

Im gonna try AVG for a bit and see how it works. Might look into the ESET and see what thats looking like.

comodo internet security

seriously it's free, firewall is superb and antivirus is pretty sophisticated so fk all that paid stuff.. just use brain while using firewall
