I must add/confirm that croatia is indeed safe. I'm from serbia and we were at war during 90', but last few years i visited sea coast and zagreb (the capital city) and I didn't have any problems what so ever

Rich people living in a third world country is great. You can have a lot of servants working for you, hire assistants at minimum salary, when you're earning good online income you control your own time, go whenever you want and go wherever you want any time you like. You don't pay tax (online only). Food is affordable. Have a beautiful house, nice car, go to the beach, etc and live happily i guess lol Its not really worse as some others may think. It depends how you live your life and how you choose to live it I guess.

In Philippines, high cost of living but low wages. stupid right? thanks to the great politicians.hahahaha! But to be honest, most of people here tend to do illegal ways to earn money(Ultra Blackhat! ) because of the rotten system.

taxes? nvm you can pay a good accountant and he will find the way that you pay very little... local IRS inspectors are corrupt so u can bribe them if needed

police : they wont bother if u are caucassian , spanish , italian style , or any other european look alike country . and they are very corrupt, so forget about fines. con: some places are very unsafe. but u can move to the safe parts or even some entire states are pretty safe!
alcohol is pretty cheap, there is a lot of good night clubs, nice beaches, mountains, during winter u can go to ski, we also have falls , jungle , deserts etc...

and I know many us citizens who came here in our 2001 crisis , they bought a lot of lands for pennies and now they are all rich!

Buenos Aires...loved it...it's a little like Europe in South America, with Spanish with an Italian accent, and many, many people speak English. Now, the currency problem they have is another story, the divergence between official and unofficial inflation rates appears to be wide. So, now to combat matters, the government has made it very difficult to convert their peso into other more 'stable' currencies, and one must receive special permission it seems. There are even currency sniffing dogs at the borders I have read to combat capital flight (and other things of course). After the 2001/2002 default crisis, when devaluation wiped out lots of savings and literally millions of Argentineans were thrown into 'poverty' almost overnight, most Argentineans remember, and so I'd bet many have a stash of dollars or euros somewhere just in case another 'surprise' devaluation and conversion happens. President Kirchner has her hands full to try and manage it all, that's for sure. For a capital city, it's pretty nice, but when I visited I think the local sanitation workers were striking or something because I couldn't believe how much dog-poop was on nearly every sidewalk. You had to watch where you stepped, haha.

One of the reasons I hate religion, it can just devalue a life completely.

This is my first post. I'll tell you some things about my country Peru - South America. Many say it's a 3rd. country, but I think it's 2nd. I put the blame on the politicians why Peru is a developing country, just think about how the hell an ex president who stole millions of nuevos soles (1 million of nuevos soles = +- 400,000 US dollars) and after living a really good life in France, came back, "apologize" and somehow became president again, things like this happens here only.

The minimum payment here is 260-300 US$ so if you can make 500 online you can have a good life. if you happen to make 1500 or more then you will be making as much as a professional does like doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc. You can have a beer for 1 - 1.4 US$, have a luxury meal for 2 for 30, have a blast at the disco inviting drinks, vip area for 150. You can also buy cops and judges depending on how bad your infringement is, if it's for not having your driver's license you "tip" 3 dollars and the cop will forget it. speeding is often not an issue. Bribes for judges are more expensive, it varies from how bad your offence is, you can bribe them but don't go too far like Joran van der sloot did.

You don't need to justify your extra income, no taxes will be applied to it either. You can even choose not to work and just focus on making money online only, cops won't bother you for this.

Most People here speak basic English, some does it fluently though. White tourists are treated well. In general white caucasian people with colored eyes are respected here but be aware of robbers and pickpockets like anywhere else.

The most gorgeous women are found in the jungle area, of course you can meet beautiful women in the coast and mountains areas too, you can meet women with curves there, they are mostly easy to talk to, friendly and very funny.

Overall I think being rich in Peru due to your work online is OK. You can be flashy from time to time, have fun whenever you want and get help from cops when you're in trouble. If you want you can help poor people by giving them foodstuff. I'll do that when I reach 500 bucks online :S yes I am a newbie...

As long as your politics isn't completely fucked up and the leaders of your countries aren't taking your money you should pay taxes. It only helps you/your country in the end.

I am from India, considered 3rd world but the city I live in is definitely not a 3rd world city. Well, talking about India is very difficult because of its diversity as there are more than 800 languages spoken so visiting different parts of the country is like vising a different country. Whichever part you go, you will find different traditions, culture, food habits, languages and almost everything is different. There are lots of castes and problems related to those but they are declining. If you talk about money and power, trust me there is a lot of money. Whatever you are earning, i am sure once you step out of your house you will find hundreds of others richer than you and equal number of poor people too.

Basically, depending on which part of India you live being rich is not to be getting scared off.. Poor people are are busy in their own world struggling to earn and eat with what they get as daily wages but things are definitely changing big time. Lots of news coming up with all the black money Indians have outside India. Swiss bank had published a report that the Indians have the largest amount of money in their banks.

In short wherever you go, you will find 3 types, really poor, middle class and extremely rich and everything can be found from food, clothing to match each type unlike in western countries where if you are really poor its very difficult to survive. I was in London for 3 years, it was really expensive but if you talk about houses, I am sure Mumbai has more expensive houses. India is a completely different experience which even I havent able to fully understand. According to the PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) , currently India is the 3rd richest country in the world behind USA and China.

So if you are ever planning to visit India, dont consider it as some place with lots of poor, but if you wanna make a lot of money India is definitely the future. Also, if you have money, i am sure you will make full use of it with a few places you would find better than in your own country. If you have money youll get it all.. I am from Pune, Maharashtra, India, if anyone wants to know where I am from.
