Bed bugs are satan.

Make sure you wash the shit out of everything

Bedbugs don't go away with washing.

They only go away with nuclear bombs, microwave, poison and fire. Combined. All at once.

Seriously I'd leave all my belongings in the sun for 10+ hours before packing.

Also this is an obvious case for a refund, lawsuit, online defamation, ORM destruction, international criminal court complaint and UN human rights violation. Just for starters.

I was born on the land of Dracula and I find this thread offensive.
Can you send me through some of your DNA so I can test biological weapons on it to see the best way to kill your tiny brothers?

Try cockroach spray. It works like wonders, but they will keep coming back every 2-3 days. The important part is finding out where their hideout is. Been through this hell before. :p

They will not stop! Getting killed is part of their plan to haunt your stuff as ghosts. In addition to the arsenal of mass destruction you need to call an Inca vodoo priest! It's the only way

The "exterminator" was a cleaning lady who swept the floor and then sprayed some bug spray. Guessing that's not going to cut it.

My exterminator guy arrived in a hazmat suit with some chemicals and told me I had to leave the place for atleast 4-6 hours while it was being fumigated. Lol @ some cleaning lady with bug spray

Never had them before in my life, moved into a new Airbnb, woke up at 3am with 3 bites, spend 5 hours searching for them, no sign.. repeat for multiple nights.. contemplate ending it all and burning down entire apartment block. Problem solved.

Going to leave tomorrow anyway, f this. Read that they can come with you in your suitcase, paranoid. Thinking of burning all possessions and leaving completely naked. Also thinking of investing all funds into developing the most painful way possible to torture and kill bed bugs, probably involving acid or a WW2 nerve agent. Warm feelings thinking about it.

Been through this multiple times with my last 3 years travel, Hostels can be awful for it haha.

Bedbugs might die in the heat, so I would advice that you sit in the sun for a couple of hours. Expose your stomach to the sun, so that your intestines get heated up. Take a couple of laxatives.

Once the laxatives start working, you'll run to the pile of clothes that you have stashed somewhere safe. Then just explode your feces all over them. It's crucial that you also rub the diarrhea into the clothes.

This should kill them all.

It's a bit unorthodox, but it could work. It's worth trying at least.

By the way, this method is where the saying "a shitty situation" comes from.

Also don't forget to shave your pubes before you leave the place. They can hide in there too

Awesome mate, on my way to buy 5 boxes of laxatives right now. Thanks for this miracle solution!

Yeah I heard hostels have lots of them and NYC apparently is really infested. I'm just staying in a normal Airbnb.

Also don't forget to shave your pubes before you leave the place
Way ahead of you mate, they're shaved 24/7/365 anyway.

I am so sorry! It’s really tough.
i subleased a furnished apartment in NYC three months and it had bed bugs. Terrible every little thing I felt I thought it was a bed bug.

I ended up throwing all my sheets and comforter into the dryer high heat every night before bed.

I also bought diatomaceous earth for bed bugs to lay out around the apartment and in cracks.

I also bought a mattress protector and zipped the mattress in it. My mattress protector and sheets were white so I could see bed bug blood/feces whatever they call it in the mornings.

When I moved out I put everything in double garbage bags and only opened them when I would do the laundry.

It’s a tough battle but I know you can pull through.

good luck

Use Windex, the ammonia spray that clean the glass, spray it on your clothes, on the bed sheets, pillows, mattress ... in the morning and by night they all will be dry and you can then sleep. Trust me on this, we stayed at a BS Airbnb for months while we were remolding and it was not cheap by any mean and we were not going to keep moving, so we searched the heck of the web to find solutions, the Windex solved it, spray everyday for the first week then every few days, it is important to use Windex brand as we found out others may not be as good, don't ask why and I don't care as long as these buggers are dead.
Yes, they can go with you, so spray your clothes and bags today!

Interested in a review copy sir.
Can you ask the mods to move the Bed Bug Torture [Method] to the JrVip section for fear of saturation or getting patched.

I will post a detailed review upon receiving the review copy, I promise!
:)
Thank you sir.

Yep they love to travel and are cheap bastards so just jump in your suitcase and invite themselves into your home for free blood and all that shit.

A place that has bed bugs might have some other surprises.. Wonder if bedbugs can get corona and be super spreaders.

Thank you mate I'll give it a try. Have put about 6 rolls of double-sided tape down all around the bed and another ring around suitcase + bag. Hoping they get stuck on that, but they could also be inside the bed itself which means they're going to be laughing in my face later tonight why I sleep.

Will try to find Windex tomorrow, if it works I'll owe you nice glass of scotch.

No problem mate, for some reason you seem to be the first person to ask for a review copy - weird, normally they're all gone by now :)

Yep they love to travel
Even the thought of dealing with this in another place is beyond fucked. My host sent a normal cleaning lady around today as the solution as well. She swept the floor, washed the sheets and pillow cases, sprayed about 20 sprays of some kind of normal cleaning spray, and then in broken English conveyed that the problem was now solved  as soon as I saw her walk in the letters "F" "M" "L" flashed before my eyes... and she's not the one getting bitten tonight so she doesn't really give a fuck tbh.

Getting COVID might kill them when they suck my blood, or... could mutate them into super bed bugs that can levitate.

yep, satan.

That's a sexy bed bug. Happily let her suck my.. blood.

You can actually sue them. At least call 311 to report that.

Reported to host already via Airbnb.. annoying thing is that she's lovely, a really nice awesome person.. I'm not going to get eaten alive because she's a nice person, but if she was a cunt I would have been long gone already with a refund in my hand.

I don't have a huge amount of time left here - she sent the cleaning lady and I'm humouring them a bit. I know this won't work from the millions of people saying bed bugs are too smart and are hardcore as fuck.

If I get eaten again tonight I send her more photos and if she doesn't send a proper exterminator it's time to make like a tree and burn half my shit under a bridge somewhere.
