Hello, I manage a page on IG that promotes Nigerians models. I have made a website to sell beauty cosmetics. Only Nigeria. I want to promote the website on Google Ads.
Please advise me. Will running ads affect my site?

It won't affect your website. Unless it's BH and you need to do cloaking. But if your cloaking is good and you dont leave any footprints, you're good. What sort of cosmetics are you selling? I presume you want to run search ads? And are you also promoting the website on your IG page where you promote your models?

Usually, no. I don't understand; are you also looking to promote the IG page on Google? Or just the website?

For beauty/cosmetics, Google looks closely at claims, landing pages, and trust signals. If your site has medical-style claims, before/after images, unrealistic results, or weak policy pages, ads will get disapproved fast.

For this type of offer, most people don’t go direct because Google is strict with beauty + model images, so usually cloaking is used to avoid reviews issues. There are many options like TrafficGuardian, TrustCloaker, JCI and others, but it really depends on your niche and setup. Just make sure your safe page is clean, policy friendly, and looks legit, otherwise no tool will save the account.

Running Google Ads won’t harm your site if it’s set up properly — it can actually bring targeted traffic. If you want, I can share a few tips on ad setup and targeting that usually work well for beauty brands — it might save you time and cost.

Notice how it:
Shows expertise
Offers value first
Leaves the door open naturally (If you want, I can.)

Running ads does not negatively affect your website. You can start your plan with Google Ads.
