Out of nowhere, they canceled my entire business after 10 years. I had sales through them and also sold through my own affiliate network of about 2,000. That's all gone now. Now they have all the money and will apparently pay it out in 180 days. No explanation as to why they canceled it. Be careful with them, diversify your business across multiple business partners.

Ouch, that sucks. Goodluck and thank you for the heads-up

Stripe is the same, they even refund all of your customers when it comes to closing your account.

Basically all payment processors are acting like that

and I bet they refuse to provide any reason for it? same as all other Paypals, Stripes,...

Basically all payment processors are acting like that
Payment providers or possibly the networks like MasterCard & Visa have far too much power today to be honest.

Really infuriating how much control they have.

I am currently working with Segpay, these people take 2-3 months to set up payment solutions, need all forms of KYC and documentation – just to prove to the networks that everything is as they wish....

Its the same with every processor, but all i expect is they should just give us a heads up with a detailed explanation before nuking the account all together so we know where we crossed the line

they are like google in SEO, no clear rules, no borders. You can just guess what you did wrong and hope you be better next time. and rules are fluid like they need. I got lifetime ban from PP for buying crypto.... only for them to promote it just few months later. And of course, no appeal helps... EVER

Your experience is not unique; many long-term merchants report sudden account closures by 2Checkout without explanation, often blaming vague "banking regulations" or "policy compliance" while holding funds for 180 days. Your core advice to diversify across multiple payment providers is crucial, as relying on a single processor for your entire business is an extremely high risk.
