I started my general contracting business right before Covid hit and things basically stalled until earlier this year. However, I had already registered to be accredited with and was accepted by the BBB before Covid, I had to let it lapse after the beginning of the pandemic. Granted customers were non existent for a bit, but I still "ran" my business as open until things got back to normal. So when I started things back up several months ago, I started updating my company address and contact information and making any changes to my account(s) that I had previously set up, like with the Better Business Bureau. Imagine how elated I was after all of the misfortune and lack of business, my BBB rating was still A+, no complaints, no reviews either, but nothing negative at all. Now fast forward a couple of months (last I had checked it before was a couple of weeks ago), and imagine my disbelief when I saw my BBB rating again last week. Still no complaints and no reviews, but now my BBB rating is an F!!!!! What???? I have sent three different messages via their "Contact us" page since last week and I have yet to see any changes or receive any response from them at all. Excuse my brassiness, but what the FUCK!!!! I am finally getting business back up and running and these BULLIES want to tag me with an F rating, why???? Although, I can't say for sure that it is because I haven't renewed my accreditation that is now double what it use to be ($48 to $75 monthly), even though that is the first thing that pops up everytime I log in. Even after I applied for it again today in order to test my theory. I just can't help but feel that after I started frequenting their website to update and make changes to my profile, and kept denying to sign up for accreditation again and again, that now they have decided to punish me and push me around and slap me with a F rating!!!!! Better Business Bureau my ass!!!! Unless they can correct their error, and I mean "Correct it NOW!!" They are and will forever remain nothing more than BIG Business Bullies picking on the little guy!!!! I keep looking for a way to have my business removed completely, just so I am not associated with them at all. Which with no reviews, no complaints and no explanations on why they have done this, you would think it would be easy to do.....NOT!!!!! #angryinaustin
