Banning someone's account

Hey guys on a group i was talking to a guy and later it turned into a fight and then he bluffed me that he will close my account... And he said that he have closed many instagram accounts more than 30. Is it possible to do that? Can someone ban anyone else instagram accounts? And I've heard that if there's more than 100 reports against a page instagram will ban it? Is it true? I don't think so it's true what you guys think?

Sounds very immature, but i'm sure it's possible. He probably hacks the account then does some "himmi-mi-jigger" and something illegal ends up happening.

Only way he could do that is hack your account and then close it. Only other way you get your account banned is if you do something against the Instagram guidelines. The number of times reported won't get you banned, but maybe they will look over your account and make sure your not doing anything bad

Only thing i can see him doing is if he has a farm of accounts and uses them 1 by 1 to report your account, you could definitely be banned. If he does this he definitely must have tons of time on his hands lol
