Banned From Amazon SES For No Reason?

About a year ago, I was sending about 2000 emails a day (all legit, not scraped) through Amazon SES until one day I received an email that I got banned.

I decided I'll just move to another service.

These days though, I would like to use it again. Problem is, the support team says they won't unblock my account.

Is there a way I can still use their service? I created a new account but somehow they linked it to the other one and didn't let me use it.

I'm surprised they didn't tell you why they banned you. I was banned because I DID scrape emails and my bounce rate was too high. They did not lift the ban after I appealed it.

Amazon is pretty clever so creating a new account on the same computer and network, so they'll be after to tell.

Yeah true.

Do you happen to know of any other cheap SMTPs?

What did you move to?

I don't. Amazon SES, is the cheapest that I know of. All others are WAY too expensive, but obviously is packed with features.

What did you move to?

Nothing. I don't actually have a real subscriber list. If you're sending 2k/day, you must have legit subs. In this case, you should be banking enough to use the expensive alternatives like aweber, mailchimp, convertkit, etc.

Sorry, I'm not much of help. My amazon SES also got banned so I thought I chime in.

You can use Sparkpost, they give free 10,000 emails per month and their pricing is almost as cheap as SES.
