PayPal is a criminal company. PayPal gave itself powers/authority to take money from users' account if a user violates their terms.
If that is not theft/robbery, tell me what it is.

They don't work similarly. Only stripe comes close with some features for businesses.

Paypal became a cheaper option now in other countries. Revolut could jump too. It depends, but to this date paypal remains the number 1 choice in terms of security for “buyers” only. For sellers, not so much.

The only reason paypal is still around is because they got the early mover advantage. They've amassed a user base so huge, they'll not shut down even if they wanted to. Someone else will take over and keep the company going.

Their lawyers probably made them walk it back, it may not have been legal and even if it was. How was paypal going to determine if something is actually misinformation or factual information for every case. There's a lot of misinformation peddled by large news organizations that is labeled as factual information. While factual information reported on by smaller news organizations is labeled as misinformation by the larger ones. Sometimes there has to be corrections a few days or weeks later, in some other cases it may take months, years or decades before the larger news networks admit that they were wrong on whatever they reported.

not sure if i should be happy about a company going bankrupt...never had issues with them so i kind of feel for them...they have been helping people transact their businesses without hitches. Probably except there is issue with the transaction. just my thought.
