hi to everyone! I would like to ask you about a link building strategy that i can't understand. I have found many times these type of links:

this is an image from my competitors console. As you see there is an image link to a page. Could anyone explain me how to do that type of backlink?

click on "Link To" on the image properties tab inside the content, and choose "Custom URL" from the dropdown menu (it will initially display "None" instead of "Custom URL") and simply type the URL you want to link to, into the custom URL field, and click "save". Pretty easy

Those look like hotlinked images on autogenerated pages. They're not something you can build, your site needs to be ranking high enough to be a scraping target, and needs to have some relevant images for the bots to want to hotlink. We've had a couple of threads about similar pages recently:
