Hi everyone, this is my first post here.
I started analyzing my competitors’ websites in Ahrefs and noticed that they all have backlinks from popular resources.
I wanted to ask: what should I do if I want to buy backlinks for my site from those resources? Should I contact them manually, or is there some affiliate/network program that they all participate in?
I already messaged a couple of them but haven’t received any replies yet :)

I'd advise against purchased links on your money site if you're trying to stay white hat. The best links are going to be relevant and useful, so not a sidebar link on a car review site if your niche is pet products.

I'd sort their links by actual usefulness (not metrics), keep only the very best, then manually check whether they have guest post guidelines, partnership pages, or anything similar.

Many site ignore the first mail .A polite follow up after a few days

Most websites that sell backlinks do it through direct outreach or SEO agencies rather than a single network. If you do not get a response, try reaching out through a different contact method or look for similar sites in your niche. Just remember that buying links comes with SEO risks if they are not done carefully.

some sites work with agencies or private networks while others only accept direct outreach if you're not getting replies move on and contact more prospects rather than waiting

I'd verify that the links are still live and actually helping your competitors before reaching out a good site is worth waiting for but avoid rushing into random link deals

Manual outreach + a follow-up usually works best. Just dont copy every competitor link blindly, check if the page has real traffic, is indexed and actually relevant first.

main risk is unnatural anchor text pattern, if you copy exact same anchor your competitor used on that site, Google can flag it specially if multiple sites are getting links from same source with similar anchor text around same time period.Other risk is link being untagged sponsored content, if site clearly sell placements without nofollow or sponsored tag and Google catches it, both linking and receiving site can get hit. Also watch for link velocity, getting too many links too fast from newly contacted sources looks different than organic gradual link building pattern

I think you should contact them directly but many site owners reply slowly or didn't reply.
The second option is to work with trusted link building agencies that already have contacts with these wesites.

Many sites prefer direct outreach but not all of them will reply i would focus on building relationships and choosing relevant quality websites instead of trying to copy every competitor backlink
a few strong relevant links can be more valuable than many low quality ones
