Ok so this morning i woke up and my site went from 40 backlinks to 239... I still am wondering where these backlinks come from.. i inatially processed my site to search engine directory so maybe from there.. However, i check the links most are irrevelant links thats not worth anything but will probably harm my site ranking. Anyway i can remove these links easy or it doesn't matter if i remove them because most of the irrevelant ones says No Follow!.. Does that matter?

How to fix it ?
you need to contact your old seo's and ask them to remove any blog network links
if they made , if they cant do it. Hire a Seo Specialist . and ask them to
build lots and lots of diverse links for you
second way which is try some
email alll the blog/website owners and ask them to remove links from their websites
last way is to email the hosting company
and then use Google disavow.

if your ranking on top3 then i guess your on the top list for negative seo..
The reason negative seo exist because it would be more much difficult to maintain top 3 position.
That means it could cost you more...
And G will used this opportunity to increase the ads!

Based on Matt, the particular research excellent professional in Search engines, getting a variety of inconsequential backlinks could damage the two your own page ranking as well as search engine results positioning.
So Either nofollow or ******** its make problem. Try to remove that Irrelevant Backlinks

Don't be in haste to get them disavowed, some directory sites will register your sites like that and make them look like some sort of spam. Check the anchor text of all of them, but I don't think you have anything to worry about 'cos it's just a few hundred backlinks and not thousands!... Continue being paranoid with your backlinks
