Backlink indexer services dropped in efficacy after spam update?

Don't know if it's for the spam updates, but lately backlink indexing services take way much more time for indexing backlinks, and generally the number of backlinks actually indexed is way lower than before. Does anybody else have similar problems and it's a common thing or mine is an isolated case?

Not an isolated case.
We all are experiencing indexing services doesn't work anymore.

it's been the same for everyone for a couple of months,
google news websites do work pretty well for indexing tho, if you do invest in one (or more depends on your needs) it's better and even cheaper for the long-term

Yes, after the spam update efficiency of indexing services dropped dramatically. This is very noticeable from my observations.
I did not renew my indexing service for the next month - it became completely useless. Although it used to be effective.

I think it's cheaper to just build another tier below and pray something in your structure gets indexed on up the chain.
