Hello,

Suppose I get a good backlink from high authority sites having high PA DA (e.g. forbs, cnn, etc)

Does this backlink require tiered linkbuilding including web 2.0, profiles, wiki, articles, comments, etc.?

If yes, then these big sites dont get harmed and spammed?

Those domains are strong enough to help your site without any tiers.
I don't tend to build links to good quality links.

No, don't need. As advised those kind of domains are strong enough. You can add some tier links to those pages to boost them up.

Thing is that pages with huge authority are permanently receiving tons of low quality links (not counting, the countless amount of pages that are replicating their content). So basically, they are immune to any kind of "negative" SEO

When you intend to tier one of those sites, technically you should be aiming to boost their visits, their page views, not their authority, obviously, through links. Because they already have authority. You could do this with a mix of a web 2.0 proxy with your fake CTR funnel and obviously submitting the page to popular aggregators like Stumbleupon-like sites, reddit, etc... Not necessarily a massive blast, although it will not do any bad, it won't be remarkable in terms of results (at it could be a little costly in terms of captcha solving, indexing and all that things).

A 'good backlink from high authority site' should have enough internal linking for your article to be indexed and receive all the 'juice' benefits. However, there are a surprising number of sites that provide minimal or no internal links to bought articles (especially PR-style articles), and this is where you may need to use a tier or two of links to power it up.

You don't need to build tier 2 links for those high authority sites.

But even if you do, they won't hurt them because of their authority.

I don't use tiered link building. The main idea is to create powerful first tier properties on authoritative sites, and then channel link juice to them from second tier sites.

Many people use web 2.0 properties, etc but their ranking power is limited. The best way to go about it is to use "real" sites at least for the first tier. I ran some tests a few years ago and it looks like tiered link building won't help you rank for competitive keywords.

Good luck!

In a word 'No'. These type of domains are strong enough and able to pass link juice to your site.

No. That's why they're 'good quality links'

My question is now......so tired link building is for money site or for backlinks we created?

you build your tier backlink to support your backlink
so your backlink will get more power

unless your backlink is already powerful like state on op

Contrary to what others have said, I believe building web 2.0s and 3 tier links to your sponsored seo articles gives it a nice boost to stay in G news widget.

Best thing to do is try it for yourself :)

No, backlink from high authority sites does not need tiered linkbuilding. High authority sites usually have high quality backlinks that are sufficient to improve a website's SEO ranking.
