backlink click / referrer click = is there a difference ?

Oke so this is the question...

I try to explain it the best way possible so here's a hypothetical scenario

You have a backlink on http://www.myblog.wordpress.com
that points to your money site http://www.moneysite.com

if you go to http://www.myblog.wordpress.com and find the link in there and click to get to http://www.moneysite.com


Is this the same as inputting in a bot to go directly to "http://www.moneysite.com" with referer as "http://www.myblog.wordpress.com" ?

Do these count "the same" as in value etc.. etc..
Or does this count for jack shit?
